CCP Highlights Composites Training at ACMA Show

Cook Composites and Polymers (CCP) is offering “Tech Talks” – a sampling of the training available at the new CCP Technology Center opening Fall, 2006 – at the forthcoming ACMA show.

The ACMA session will be held Oct. 18-19 in St. Louis, Missouri, from 1 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. in 15-minute increments. Conference attendees will have the opportunity to meet the CCP training team from the new Technology Center in North Kansas City, Mo., and learn valuable tips and techniques in key areas of composites manufacturing. “Tech Talks” topics will include:

  • Factors affecting cure
  • Considerations for critical colour issues
  • Proper personal protective equipment selection
  • Essential gel coat applications tips
  • Production of high-quality tooling surfaces.

Show attendees also can receive a free CD version of the CCP Composites Application Guide (“The Cook Book”), their resource for composites questions.

CCP representatives will give “Tech Talks” at booth No. 1201 at ACMA and booth No. 1723 at IBEX.
