As of September 11th, CCP Composites has introduced a US$0.10 per pound price increase for shipments from the US on all white, off-white, beige, tan, gray and pastel coloured gel coats, and as of 19th September, Scott Bader will be increasing the price of their crystic gelcoats and pigments by a further 100€/ton.

Both companies report that the price rises are in response to significant additional increases in the costs of key gelcoat and pigment related raw materials, especially titanium dioxide.
