Due to the forecasted impact of Hurricane Irma, CAMX – The Composites and Advanced Materials Expo, will not be held this week as planned.

CAMX 2017 was scheduled to begin on 11 September 2017 at the Orange County Convention Centre in Orlando, Florida, US. The event is co-produced by the American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA) and the Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE).

“CAMX continues to be a vitally important event for our industry to do business, network, and learn from each other, but in light of the projected path of Hurricane Irma, airline cancellations, and the safety and well-being of our attendees and exhibitors, we are forced to make the difficult decision to not hold CAMX 2017 next week as planned,” said ACMA President, Tom Dobbins, in a CAMX announcement on 7 September.

CAMX says it will make regular updates, including details on registration, housing, potential new dates and exhibitor specific information, on a dedicated webpage. Updates will also be available on Facebook and Twitter, and attendees will receive email communications with further instructions in the coming weeks.
