B&W Fibre Glass has acquired the Multiple Winding Company, a now wholly owned subsidiary based in Manchester, UK.

B&W Fibre Glass (BWF) explains that Multiple Winding Company (MWC) has a rich history of producing technical textiles for nearly a century. It says this acquisition will enable it to further its vision of providing technically based value added textile solutions to the global market. BWF says it will utilise the full infrastructure and existing personnel of MWC to create a seamless transition period.

Through ongoing investment, MWC will continue to develop new product  lines, broadening the portfolio and offerings of the company. “Mr. Shaw has provided us with an incredible opportunity to take MWC forward into the next  century of growth. It is rare to find an organisation in today’s age that shares our family based  values and vision. We welcome the 40+ MWC team members along with their customers to the BWF family,” said Brent Beason, President. Chris Shaw will be present in an advisory fashion for the near term.
