Bomar Specialtiesis integrating into Dymax and as a result, Bomar will transition to Dymax Oligomers & Coatings and continue to provide innovative solutions to unique energy-cure application challenges.

According to Dymax, they co-founded Bomar in 1990, enabling the company to achieve a secure source of supply while improving product quality and expanding R&D capabilities. Dymaxsay they subsequently acquired 100% ownership of Bomar in 2001.

Bomar say their oligomers are used to formulate adhesives, inks, coatings, and a variety of other products.  In addition to their ability to undergo free radical polymerisation, these oligomers are the most significant contributor to the physical performance characteristics of the product including flexibility, chemical resistance, hardness, adhesion, and more.

From a full line of commercially available polyether, polyester urethane acrylate, and multifunctional oligomers, to newly synthesized and select developmental materials, Bomar explain that their oligomers provide solutions to your most difficult formulation challenges.
