AVK-TV Request Applications for 2005 Composite Innovation Prize

The Reinforced Plastics Association and Technical Union (AVK-TV) is requesting nominations for this year’s annual AVK-TV innovation prizes in the categories “”industrial applications””, environment”” and “”university work””.

The objective of the innovation prizes is to provide solutions to state-of-the-art technological issues by means of composites and thermosets, to highlight the achievements of our industry in the field of environmental protection and to encourage university research into composites and thermoset mouldings. Not least, it is hoped that these innovation prizes will serve as a source of motivation for specialists active in these fields.

The prizes will be awarded during the 8th International AVK-TV Conference for Reinforced Plastics and Moulding Compounds on 27-28 September 2005 in Baden-Baden. The winner of the University prize will receive an additional cash prize of € 1100.

Applications for the 2005 innovation prizes may be submitted in the following categories:
Industrial applications
Environment
University work

Candidates wishing to apply for the AVK-TV Innovation award have to send an abstract of their application to AVK-TV by 31 May 2005.
