The range of Derakane epoxy vinyl ester resins from Ashland has been expanded and is also now more widely available.

In addition to Derakane Momentum 411-350 resin and Derakane Momentum 510C-350 resin the newly-issued line card now includes Derakane 451-400 and Derakane 515-400 resins, which were derived from Ashland’s Hetron corrosion-resistant resins. Ashland say that this improved product line ensures the global availability of solutions for an extensive array of applications that call for the performance and consistency built into Derakane epoxy vinyl ester resins.

“With the globalization of business, our customers need to have the ability to source our Derakane epoxy vinyl ester resins in all corners of the world. This enhanced export product line supports that need and ensures our customers that the resin can be shipped to where it is needed,” said Andy Beer, director, product management – vinyl esters, Ashland Performance Materials. “The key to any successful product enhancement is to ensure that legacy performance qualities are retained. Our scientists were able to achieve this goal.”
