Aries Industrial y Naval buys 50.5% of Aries Complex

Catalana d’Iniciatives, Corsabe and Sociedad de Promocion y Participacion Empresarial Caja de Madrid, the three financial shareholders of Aries Complex, the Spanish manufacturer of carbon fibre materials for the aeronautical sector, have sold their 50.5 per cent stake in the group for over 12m euros. The buyer is Aries Industrial y Naval, a group linked to the directors who own the rest of the shares in the company. The financial shareholders, which had equal stakes in Aries Complex, have made estimated capital gains from the operation of 50 per cent. Aries Complex will manufacture parts for 600 Airbus A380 super-jumbos.
