AOC Receive Brunswick Award for Bowling Ball

AOC has been awarded the 2011 Supplier of the Year Award from Brunswick Bowling and Billiards Corporation for helping to improve bowling ball quality and providing exceptional delivery and service.

According to AOC, their and Brunswick research teams have been working together to develop a resin formulation that dramatically improves surface quality of bowling balls.  “AOC’s ‘No Crack’ cover and core resin improved our Reynosa facility’s ball quality and substantially reduced total costs,” said Andrew Logg, Director of Supply Chain, Brunswick Bowling and Billiards.  “In 2010 and 2011, AOC had 100% Quality and 100% On-time Delivery metrics.  The relationship between the two companies is maintained more than effectively at all levels of management, and AOC constantly evaluates and makes changes were necessary throughout all aspects of the business.”

AOC say the materials for Brunswick were developed at their World Headquarters R&D Centre and manufactured in the AOC Mexico facility. The Brunswick-AOC partnership is managed by Jeff Holshevnikoff, Managing Director, South America, under the leadership of Brian Parker, Global Managing Director.

“The entire AOC organization should be proud of this accomplishment,” said Fred Norman, AOC President and COO. “To achieve the top award over 500 other suppliers is a testament to our commitment to quality and customer service.”
