AOC, LLC will introduce a US$0.10/lb price increase on all resins, gel coats, pigments, colorants and additives for the United States and Canada (CN$.22 per kilo) effective for all shipments on and after Monday, June 30, 2008.

There will also be a US$0.08 per pound price increase on all resins sold into Mexico, Caribbean, and Central America, effective for all shipments beginning June 16, 2008.

AOC say that Crude Oil (WTI) on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) continues to trade at record levels and exceeds $120 per barrel as global demand continues to rise. Natural Gas costs have also been steadily rising as NG consumption has increased. The prices of critical feedstocks used to make raw materials for Unsaturated Polyester Resin have risen, and the trend will continue as these raw material increases lag Crude Oil and Natural Gas price changes.
