AOC are imposing a US $0.05 per pound price increase on all resins, gel coats, pigments, colorants and additives for shipments in Mexico, from May, 1, 2009. According to AOC, the increase results from continuous raw material increases as suppliers raise prices. AOC say that they sources raw materials globally to resist increasing prices, but that the recent price movement cannot be absorbed internally.
