AOC has increased the price increase for all resins containing isophthalic acid.

This includes, but is not limited to, corrosion resins, cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) resins, pultrusion resins, and certain casting, polymer concrete, and SMC/BMC resins. The increase will be in the amount US$0.06/lb. in the US, and CND$0.18/Kg in Canada, or as contracts allow.  AOC sales representatives will help customers answer any questions regarding the specific products affected.

AOC is also increasing the price for gelcoats, pigments, and all other resin products in the amount of US$0.04/lb. in the US, and CDN$0.12/Kg in Canada, or as contracts allow.

The increases are effective for all orders shipped on or after 12 February 2017.

AOC says this action is due to higher costs for several key raw materials including maleic anhydride, purified isophthalic acid, styrene, titanium dioxide-Ti02, propylene glycol, epoxy and bis-A, among others.

AOC’s global purchasing resources continue to work with our network of suppliers focusing on security of supply and cost management to meet its customers’ needs.
