Angstron Materials Teams with Stryke Industries to Accelerate Commercialisation of Graphene Products in Key Markets

Angstron Materials has teamed with Stryke Industries to accelerate development and commercialisation of graphene products for military and defence applications.

The Fort Wayne, Indiana, US-based business development firm provides a multi-tiered network of resources designed to promote economies of scale, enhanced design-for-manufacturability and shorter lead times for bringing new products to market.

“It’s a good fit for Angstron,” says Ian Fuller, Angstron’s Vice President for Business Development and Engineering. “One of Stryke’s specialties is its ability to identify and implement disruptive technologies that can help equip military personnel and provide problem-solving solutions for defence industries.  Our graphene materials and technologies meet thermal, electrical, energy, mechanical and barrier specifications. We also have the quality systems and manufacturing capacity to support large scale production.”

Headquartered in Dayton, Ohio, US, Angstron Materials claim to be the world’s largest producer of graphene materials. The graphene manufacturer is ISO 9001:2008 certified for full-scale graphene production. It says an annual production capacity of 300 tons supports a range of projects dedicated to commercialising raw materials and graphene-enhanced products. Current production and research efforts include thermal management, energy storage and nanocomposites.
