The Aerospace Materials Technology Testhouse (AMTT) is located in the Austrian Research Center Seibersdorf, approx. 30 km south of Vienna, Austria.

It is a Major Research Infrastructure (former large scale facility) in the framework of the “”Improving the Human Research Potential and Socio-Economic Knowledge program”” financed by the European Community. The AMTT infrastructure provides support to researchers and research teams working in the field of aerospace & space materials technology. Access to all facilities of the AMTT is provided free of charge, including all infrastructural, logistical, technical and scientific support. Subsistence and travelling costs are reimbursed. The administrative procedure is very simple, only a short outline of the planned activities is needed. AMTT is responsible for all purposes, i.e. there is no contact to EC necessary. Application Forms can be downloaded. The AMTT offers a wide spectrum of test facilities for materials development and characterisation of high standard, some of them regarded as rare and in specific aspects unique. These facilities are used for R&D programs conducted for ESA (ESA materials testhouse) as well as for national and international (aero)space industries. Due to this background an efficient support to research teams and individual researchers using the AMTT infrastructure can be given. Researchers are invited to submit proposals until 23 April 2001 http://www.arcs.ac.at/amtt
