Amber Composites has broken ground on a new building at their production facility in Langley Mill, Derbyshire.

Amber say the building will be dedicated to the production of composite materials including their prepreg, surface film, adhesive film and syntactic core, and will more than double their production area. They expect the new facility to be fully operational in 2012.

“The demand for lightweight materials continues to rise”, said Jonathan McQueen, Managing Director of Amber Composites, “and we’re investing in technology, equipment and facilities to meet that demand while keeping our lead times as short as possible”.
