The Latin American Composite Materials Association (ALMACO) will promote the 1st Regional Meeting of 2019 on 9 May 2019 in São José dos Campos, Brazil.

The event will be held at the Light Structures Nucleus (LEL), a laboratory belonging to the Institute of Technological Research (IPT) and the only one in South America dedicated to research applied to the manufacturing processes of lightweight structures, such as composites.

In the morning, participants will visit the lab facilities and, after lunch, attend six lectures.

“Nothing better than presenting work on the latest in terms of raw materials and composite manufacturing processes in a space as well structured as LEL,” said Erika Bernardino Aprá, President of ALMACO.

With the sponsorship of LORD, Owens Corning, Purcom and Saertex, the 1st ALMACO Regional Meeting is a free event for professionals and students.
