AleniaAermacchi has selected VISTAGY’s FiberSIM 5.1 software as its specialized composite design environment for the CATIA V5 CAD system.

AleniaAermacchi engineers have used FiberSIM for more than two years on a variety of design projects and utilized the software to design, simulate and manufacture complex composite aircraft parts for commercial airliners.Using FiberSIM software, AleniaAermacchi engineers will generate detailed documentation early in the design phase, and share composites information and detail across the organization from within one application. AleniaAermacchi will utilize FiberSIM’s zone-based design and new automated plybook capabilities to ensure products are designed and manufactured accurately, within specification, and meet the demanding deadlines of its current aerospace design projects.
