AkzoNobel launches an innovative e-learning safety training module at the Composites and Advanced Materials Expo (CAMX) in Anaheim, California, US this week.
According to AkzoNobel, the tool provides customers and distributors with essential background information and safe handling guidelines for the company’s organic peroxides.
“Our organic peroxides are well known under the trade names Cadox, Butanox, Perkadox and Triganox and are essential ingredients for the polymer industry,” said Markus Majoor, Global Market Segment Leader for AkzoNobel’s Polymer Chemistry business. “We make sure that our products are safely handled and this new module effectively supports our customers and distribution partners.”
The training is available to customers, distributors and other potential partners. It will initially be available in English, with other languages added in 2017.
“Safety is a core value at AkzoNobel,” Majoor said. “The company is a leader in innovation within the industry and this is another example how sharing best practices benefits all the parties involved along the supply chain. The module enhances the company’s world-class safety training program and furthers knowledge on the handling of AkzoNobel’s products.”
