The French company Porcher Industries and the Russian company Prepreg Advanced Composite Materials have signed a preliminary agreement on the establishment of a facility for carbon fibre textiles in Russia.

The companies intend to implement joint projects in Eastern Europe (CIS and Baltic Republics) and Central Asia, including the production of carbon fibre textile materials in the Russian Federation.

Porcher Composites Russia will be responsible for the development, production, promotion and sale of textile materials made of carbon fibres, which will be used for composite parts in for aerospace, aeronautics and other industries.

The final details of the project and business plan will be formed over the next three months.
