Recent advances in Dow’s Fulcrum thermoplastic composite technology have been made in application development and die technology.

With new die production, new profiles can be produced with significantly lower cost, and in a fraction of the time required for traditional pultrusions. Multiple parts can be made to better utilize production lines, and parts can be overcoated online with alternative materials and colours.

Dow is also making strides in new applications in products such as sail battens, window stiffener components, wall ties, refrigerator components and climbing equipment.
