ADI in Bid to Build Australian Navy’s New Patrol Boats

Defence company ADI today announced a plan to extend the life of its shipbuilding operation in the Australian city of Newcastle, with a bid to build the navy’s new patrol boats.

ADI said it would build a variant of the Danish Navy’s Flyvefisken Class patrol boat from advanced composite materials at its Carrington shipyard.
