At AeroDef 2019, Booth #1933, CGTech will be demonstrating our latest versions of VERICUT and Composites Programming & Simulation Software.
Be sure not to miss the following presentations from CGTech’s Jim Huddy, National Sales Manager, and André Colvin, Composites Product Manager:
The aerospace industry continues to push for lighter, faster, and more cost-effective parts. To support these goals, VCP now puts more power into user’s hands. With more information available than ever before, part programmers can generate and export part statistics directly from VCP. The addition of the all-new summary reports allows engineers to compare different layup strategies, and feel confident the optimal design prevails. “However, one should not stop at the programming stage,” said André Colvin, CGTech’s Composites Product Manager. “Companies now more than ever are realising the importance of simulation and the digital twin model. With VCS users can watch their parts come to life on their machine, leaving them confident that the intended design will match what is manufactured.”
CGTech will also exhibit its latest version of VERICUT software. VERICUT 8.2 is an industry leading CNC machine simulation, verification and optimization software that enables users to eliminate the process of manually proving-out NC programs. VERICUT simulates all types of CNC machining, including drilling and trimming of composite parts, water jet, riveting, robotics, mill/turn and parallel kinematics. VERICUT runs standalone, but can also be integrated with leading CAM systems.
JEC Forum Chicago 2019, with its new format combining business meetings and conference sessions was a great success. In fact, with 201 delegates and 490 business meetings organised on site, it reveals that North American composites industrials value this new format.
Teijin announces that the A350 XWB aircraft, Airbus’s new-generation extra-wide-body midsize jetliner incorporating Teijin’s Tenax TPCL carbon fibre thermoplastic consolidated laminate, was delivered to Japan Airlines (JAL) and arrived at Haneda Airport in Tokyo on 14 June.
Coriolis Composites is proud to announce the NCC as one of our first clients to purchase our new C5 AFP robotic gantry solution. Coriolis Composites is a long-standing partner of the NCC having provided the centre’s original AFP solution and now the C5 joins the C1 purchased in 2018.
