Graphenano Composites Presents Graphene Pultrusion Technology at JEC World 2018

Graphenano Composites will present pultruded profiles incorporating graphene during JEC World.

Graphene improves the mechanical characteristics of conventional profiles. Thanks to this carbon nanomaterial, polyester profiles can equal or exceed the mechanical strength of higher cost resins, increasing the ultimate tensile strength by more than 30% when compared with standard GRP profiles, the company reports. Graphene reduces weight but retains the same mechanical characteristics without influencing durability.

Graphenano Composites is attending JEC World with pultruder Polymec, which manufactures and markets the graphene profiles. The two companies offer a wide range of profiles under the trade name CompoSmart.

Graphenano Composites will also showcase the boat Graphenano One, which incorporates graphene in its structure, helping to reduce weight by more than 20%.
