Airtech Introduces Filmcote 1524 Release Film

Airtech Advanced Materials is introducing Filmcote 1524, an engineered film developed as a replacement for release liquids on the surface of mould tools.

Filmcote 1524 is said to remain on the part surface after demould, providing protection from damage or contamination during subsequent process. Benefits are reported to include:

  • no contamination of parts by release agent transfer;
  • excellent release, reducing rework or cleaning of tooling; and
  • protection of parts during trim and drill operations.

A video about the product is available online www.youtube.com/watch?v=8AQJSE0aQbE.
