BYK Completes Acquisition of PolyAd Services

BYK has completed the acquisition of the plastics additives manufacturer PolyAd Services; the acquisition was announced on 1 February 2017.

According to BYK, the acquisition represents a strategic strengthening of its plastics additives segment. It involves two operating companies in the USA and Germany and a development and manufacturing site in the US. As a developer and manufacturer of additive solutions for the global plastics market, PolyAd Services says it offers innovative products for a wide variety of sectors such as the automotive, construction, packaging and electronics industries.

“We look forward to welcoming our new colleagues so that, together, we will be able to provide our customers with a personalised, specialised and comprehensive portfolio of plastics additives,” Business Line Manager, Thorsten Kröller, says.
