LANXESS Adjusts Prices for Engineering Plastics

28 February 2017

LANXESS further increases the prices for its Durethan (PA 6, PA 6.6) compounds in Europe, Middle East and Africa with effect from 1 March 2017.

The adjustment is resulting from the continuing pressure on the raw material cost base. The price increase amounts to 0.25 EUR/kg for Durethan A (polyamide 6.6) and 0.20 EUR/kg for Durethan B (polyamide 6).

LANXESS’s engineering plastics of the brand Durethan are mainly used for applications in the automotive industry plus the electrical/electronics industry.
