Michelman and Mafic Partner to Develop Basalt Fibre Composites

Michelman and Mafic have announced an innovation and product development partnership that will focus on increasing the performance and surface characteristics of basalt fibres and their use in high performance composites.

This partnership combines Michelman sizing and surface treatment expertise with Mafic’s portfolio of advanced basalt fibre technologies. The companies believe that by working closely together they can accelerate the pace of new and advanced product innovations for a broad array of end-use applications.
