Dow Automotive Systems Honoured by Honda

22 August 2017

Dow Automotive Systems recently received top supplier recognition from Honda R&D Americas and Honda Brazil.

In North America, Dow Automotive received an Excellence in Innovation Award for OEM suppliers. BETAMATE structural adhesives and BETAFOAM polyurethane foams helped Honda deliver the new 2018 Odyssey with improved cabin quietness and structural rigidity, as well as reduced vehicle weight. BETAMATE was chosen to provide stiffness and weight reduction benefits in front-end applications. BETAFOAM is applied in vehicle cavities to block noise, vibration and harshness, delivering improved acoustics performance. Cost improvements were also a consideration.

In Brazil, Dow Automotive was recognised as the best supplier in the quality and delivery category.
