Formax to Run NCF Reinforcement Clinics at JEC World 2016

01 March 2016

At JEC World, Formax will be showcasing its ability to develop innovative solutions for challenging composite applications through a series of one-to-one consultations with its engineering team.

Hexcel explains that it acquired Formax in January 2016 and the company name will soon be changing to Hexcel Reinforcements UK.

Formax invites all JEC visitors with a reinforcement challenge to its stand to discuss their problem with the team of technical experts who will take a fresh look at the issue and offer advice on potential solutions. The NCF (Non-Crimp Fabric) Reinforcement Clinics will be offered throughout the show. Customers can either walk onto the stand or book a session in advance by emailing

JEC visitors are also invited to the main Hexcel stand G45, where the focus will be on Hexcel’s carbon fibre and composite materials for aerospace, automotive and wind energy.

Hexcel acquired full ownership of Formax on 5 January 2016, following the acquisition of a 50% interest in the privately-owned company in December 2014. The purchase of the remaining interest in Formax will allow Hexcel to further advance dry reinforcements technology for future aerospace applications and provide scale for growing industrial markets.

Formax will be exhibiting in Hall 6, Stand F39.
