During JEC World, Dow will offer its visitors an efficient way to obtain a better understanding of industry leading technologies.

On all three mornings of JEC 2016, Dow says its experts will share highlights of technical papers from the JEC Forum. The three engaging sessions consist of:

  • VORAFORCE RTM Matrix Resin Systems: Mass Reduction for Mass Production
    Presenter: Dr Timothy Morley.
  • Structural Adhesives for Composite Bonding in Body and Trim Shop
Presenters: Dr. Stefan Schmatloch and Dr Andreas Lutz.
  • Polyurethane Resins to meet the Evolving Needs of the Agricultural Vehicles Industry
Presenters: Paolo Diena and Mark Bradford.

Dow says its active engagement on the JEC Forum is aligned with a focus on continuous innovation and the ongoing effort to address major challenges facing society with industry and scientific expertise. On a stand shared with DowAksa, it will present its latest high-performance polyurethane and epoxy composite systems for infrastructure, construction, automotive, wind energy and many more industries.

Special focus will be on composite applications and epoxy systems for tanks that store compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), offering industry-leading technology that can be tailored to customers’ needs.

In the transportation sector, Dow says its advanced composite solutions from Dow offer significant performance, processing and cost advantages for strong, lightweight and durable composites. Dow and DowAksa combine resin matrix materials and carbon fibre capabilities to provide a total composite offering, complemented by an advanced adhesives portfolio with BETAMATE and BETAFORCE structural adhesives.
