Anaglyph has released a new version of its Laminate Tools application; a stand-alone Windows application that addresses the entire Geometry import-Design-Analysis-Check-Manufacture process of composites structural design.
The application links the various disciplines, communicates original data between all involved in the process and saves valuable team time. Laminate tools interfaces with most CAD and FEA applications. It is used by composite structures designers and stress analysts in automotive, aerospace, marine, energy and leisure.
According to Anaglyph, Laminate Tools Version 4.6 brings a number of enhancements to the FEA and CAD interfaces and adds exciting new features in the Design, Check and Manufacture modules. A popular feature for discontinuous projected plies is introduced, dynamic ply point definition is made possible, the interface has several user enhancements, the Manufacturing output is further enriched.
