Gurit Supports Foiling Community

Gurit has sponsored the 2016 Foiling Week Forum at Lake Garda, Italy, and Newport, Rhode Island, US.

Guirit adds that Foiling Week is a unique event that creates an opportunity for the best foiling regatta sailors to share knowledge and information with designers, builders and technicians to accelerate the development process of foiling and to enable growth for the foiling community. According to Gurit, the 2016 Forum at Lake Garda features an impressive line-up of speakers, including Franck Cammas (Team France, Americas Cup) and Mario Caponnetto (AC Land Rover BAR Team). Paolo Manganelli, Senior Engineer Gurit Composite Engineering, will speak about ‘Foiling Boat Structures: Technical Challenges and Developments’ on Saturday, 9 July 2016.

Foiling Week will also see the debut of the FX project from Stiletto, the launch of Voilavion Cat and the race debut of the monohull design Waszp.
