Michelman Opens Alibaba Online Store

Michelman has opened an online store on Alibaba, a business-to-business ecommerce platform designed specifically for the Chinese market.

According to Michelman, a selection of its best-in-class products are now available for immediate purchase in drums or pails. These products represent the most popular solutions used by Michelman customers across the company’s Coatings, Printing & Packaging and Industrial Manufacturing business groups.

Products found in the online store are marketed under the brands Michem Emulsion, Michem Guard, Licomer, Michem Lube, Hydrosize, HydraBan, Coating X300, VaporCoat and Michem Wood Release.

According to Mr Steven Wong, Michelman’s Vice President, Asia Pacific, “One of Michelman’s key strategic initiatives in Asia, and particularly in China, is to make our world-class specialty solutions more visible and more accessible to all customers, regardless of their size. With the launch of our Alibaba online store, we are providing all Chinese manufacturers immediate access to our most popular products.”

Michaelman explains its new online store is optimised for viewing on all devices including tablets and smartphones, and visitors have the option of using Alipay, a safe and secure online payment platform. The new online store can be found at http://michelman.1688.com.
