Westmoreland Mechanical Testing & Research, (WMT&R) has received a Boeing Performance Excellence Award.
The Boeing Company issues the award annually to recognise suppliers who have achieved superior performance. WMT&R says they have maintained the necessary performance rating for each month of the 12-month performance period and that they are one of only 548 suppliers to receive the recognition.
“We are honoured to receive this award from Boeing,” stated WMT&R Vice President, Michael Rossi. “It represents our commitment to building and maintaining close relationships with our customers so that we can provide them with the highest quality service.” WMT&R provides Boeing, and other aerospace manufacturers, with a wide variety of materials testing services.
At the 2019 JEC Composites show, 12-14 March 2019 at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre, CGTech will demonstrate how advanced programming strategies and simulation can lead to better composite parts.

Boeing has delivered the first of ten 787 Dreamliners to WestJet, marking the start of the airline's global expansion. Having long operated a fleet of Boeing single-aisle jets, WestJet will use the super-efficient, long-range 787-9 Dreamliner to profitably serve new international routes.
