Huntsman Advanced Materials has revealed a further development to its impressive network of distributors, following the announcement of its extension of the existing partnership with Antala Industria, to the UK and Ireland through Antala.
Founded in 1999, Antala Industria says they provide the best technical brands to multiple and diverse markets throughout Spain and Portugal. Since 2008 it has been working with Huntsman, supplying the company’s range of Araldite adhesives to major industry sectors in Spain and Portugal. In 2013, Antala Industria was also appointed as the main distributor for the entire formulated system range, including Araldite adhesives, composite materials and electrical insulation systems for that same region.
Commenting on the new partnership, Antala’s CEO, Victor Argudo, said, “It is well documented that our strategy has always been a simple one, we combine high quality, key brands with well maintained stock levels, as well as outstanding technical support and customer service. With a long and successful track record in the distribution of specialty chemicals, Antala Industria has already proved to be a valuable partner to Huntsman and we look forward to providing significant value to our customers.”
Elena Casini, Huntsman’s EMEA Distribution Manager added “The existing and strong partnership that we already have in place with Antala Industria S.L in Iberia supported to make the decision to work with Antala. Due to its proven, outstanding, technical competencies, commercial strength, sound understanding of the market and the ability to be able to adapt to our requirements and changes; it means that we have complete confidence in the business and we are keen to see the opportunities that will unfold as our network expands further with Antala.”
Further to this, Huntsman is confirming an agreement with Samaro, to strengthen its distribution network in France. Commenting on how the new agreement is helping to deliver added value to their customers, Casini said “We identified them as a business partner that understands our customer needs and is committed to the highest levels of supply and service.”
