The Composites Europe trade fair will be supported by an Advisory Board from now on.
Composites Europe explains that the consultative body will comprise of 20 association, industry and media representatives. The inaugural meeting took place in Düsseldorf, Germany, on 20 April 2015. Among the Advisory Board’s objectives and duties will be to further improve the strategy and content of Composites Europe.
"A hallmark of Composites Europe is that it is close to the industry and the sector, and that it showcases innovations in actual applications. Together with the Advisory Board, we aim to further enhance this character," says Hans-Joachim Erbel, CEO of Organiser, Reed Exhibitions Deutschland.
Members of the Advisory Board will include the trade fair partners AVK / Composites Germany, VDMA Forum Composite Technology and EuCIA. They will be joined by officials from industry, research and science. The members elected Peter Egger from Engel, Austria Chairman of the Advisory Board. Vice Chairman will be Riki Rosson from Lange+Ritter.
