NetComposites to Host Live Online Training Giving Introduction to Polymer Matrices for Composites

NetComposites will host the second of its series of live online training modules titled, “Polymer Matrices for Composites”, on Wednesday, 29th April, from 15:00 PM to 16:00 PM GMT+1.

The Live Online Training will offer expert content from Dr Joe Carruthers and will feature an interactive question and answer session.

Moderated by James Taylor, Training and Communications Specialist at NetComposites, the Live Online Training will provide information on what polymers are, why they’re different from other materials, commonly used thermoset and thermoplastic matrices and their relative performance.

James commented "We're really excited to be able to offer this to the industry - as a company NetComposites recognises the requirement for composites training at all levels."

"There's a huge demand for skilled and knowledgeable staff in the composites industry at the moment and these live online training modules, along with our more traditional classroom-based courses will help provide the skills required."

This informative Live Online Training will define:

  • What polymers are;
  • Why polymers are different from other materials;
  • The differences between thermoplastics and thermosets;
  • Which types of thermoset matrices are commonly used and how do they perform;
  • Which types of thermoplastic matrices are commonly used and how do they perform.
