In its mission to spot and promote the most advanced composite innovations, JEC Group has revealed the 11 winners of JEC Innovation Awards.
“This year, the JEC Americas awards program offers a varied selection of worthy projects after a careful selection. From raw materials to softwares, along with a few applicative categories: automotive, aeronautics, consumer goods, the prizes cover the whole value chain. A few trends are made particularly clear here; mass production and accelerated rates are the main goals, with as much efficiency as possible and at lesser costs.” says Mrs. Frédérique Mutel, JEC Group President and CEO.
JEC Americas will be held at the Grove, Houston, Texas, US, from 2nd to 4th June 2015, and JEC says it will be the stage where the Composites Industry truly demonstrates how these new materials push the limits of Innovation in every Industry. Excellence through Technology and Innovation will also be underlined during this year keynote speakers interventions, Ron Garan, Astronaut, Social Entrepreneur & Motivational Speaker and Byron Pipes, Director of Design and Simulation Technology Area from the Institute for Advanced Composites Manufacturing Innovation Purdue University.

Continental Structural Plastics (CSP), along with its parent company Teijin, were honoured by General Motors with the automakers Innovation Award at its 27th Annual Supplier of the Year awards ceremony held in Warren, Michigan, US.
Carboman Group (Carboman) announces that it is collaborating with Eviation Aircraft, on Eviation’s ‘Alice’ - an all-electric aircraft structure that will debut at the 53rd Paris Air Show in Le Bourget.
Launched in 2017, JEC Startup Booster is the leading and unique start-up competition in the world of composites in which hundreds of start-ups participate to pitch their breakthrough innovations in front of a jury of experts from international groups and companies involved in the making of innovative materials.
