Cytec to Present Recent Advances in Material Technologies for Cost-Effective Mass Production of Light Weight Carbon Fibre Structures

Cytec Industries will be presenting at SPEAutomotive Composites Conference and Exhibition 9-11 September 2014, Novi, Michigan, US.

Cytec states Alexander Aucken, Global Automotive Market Sector Manager will give a technical presentation on September 9, at 1:00pm entitled “Increasing the Affordability of Continuous Fiber Composites for High Volume Production”.

This paper will present technology advancements to address the issues facing the automotive industry and suggest effective solutions.

“Cost effective mass produced composites require composite design-for-manufacture, automation, rapid curematerials and textile formats - developed for the right processes, and a technically and commercially maturesupply chain” said Aucken.

Cytec will also be exhibiting at booth 420.
