Solvay Engineering Plastics and e-Xstream Engineering have formed a partnership to open source MMI Technyl Design for automotive OEMs.
Developing and supporting MMI Technyl Design, e-Xstream explains the advanced material modelling platform allies an extremely comprehensive encrypted database exceeding 7,600 files which it says allows for a wide range of calculations when integrated with the injection moulding process modelling.

Fibrelite reports that since the start of its partnership with Trenwa more than 100 precast trench systems integrating Fibrelite composite covers have been sold for use in electrical substations, wastewater treatment plants, chemical refineries and many other applications across North America.
