Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) has won a contract from Airbus to the build and supply composite rudders for the Airbus A330-200 and A330-300 long-range commercial jets.
According to the contract, TAI is awarded as a single-source contributor through the Airbus A330 programme lifetime.
The rudders will be manufactured at TAI's Ankara Kazan Premises in Turkey, where the company is already contracted to design, build and supply of Airbus A350 XWB Ailerons and supplies control surfaces for a number of commercial/military aircraft platforms.
