Scott Bader has launched a new website as part of its new corporate identity and ‘We think innovation’ theme, both of which were first launched at JEC Europe this year.
The new website covers the four business units in the Scott Bader Group: Specialty Polymers, Composites, Adhesives, and Advanced Composites.
Scott Bader says the new website design is clear and enables a visitor to quickly navigate around the site and find the exact information or help needed. There is an abundance of product information, case studies, videos, product guides, application brochures and technical datasheets, in English and in other languages, which can all be found very easily using a new search functionality.
The new search functionality is on two levels, with the first level being a search by business sector and product type using ‘select and search’ drop-down click options. At the product level, further filter search functionality is included, which uses a ‘tick box’ selector to narrow down products by processing application and characteristics. At the top of each main landing page there are also ‘Quick Links’ to popular business-related searches, such as getting the contact details of a local distributor from Scott Bader’s global database; finding and downloading a specific product datasheet; or contacting Scott Bader directly or via social media. There is also a quick link to the Scott Bader Commonwealth Global Charity Fund page, which explains about its annual activities and how charities can apply for funding support. This section of the website also covers the company’s corporate, social, ethical and environmental-sustainability policies.
Later this year, Scott Bader plans to add technical webinars to the website, based on papers presented at exhibitions and seminars.
