Gurit are exhibiting at Composites 2013, from Tuesday 29th January to Thursday 31st January 2013 in Orlando.
The exhibition to be held in Orlando, Florida, will welcome over 220 exhibitors and see 650 different companies represented.
Exhibiting on booth 872, Gurit will be showcasing its composite materials and engineering capabilities. Products highlighted include Gurit’s full core materials range which comprises of Corecell, PVCell, G-PET and Balsaflex, all with a distinct range of properties and attributes and available in sheet form or tailored pieces in kit format. Gurit USA now claim to offer one of the shortest lead-times for core materials in the market, with 10 days from order to dispatch.
Composites 2013 will mark the first exhibition since Gurit implemented a unified global brand strategy.
Staff from Gurit’s US sales and engineering teams will be available on the booth to discuss some of the recent projects they have been working on including wheel rims for sports cars, ice hockey equipment and composite parts for cherry picker cranes. UK company Norco Composites has invested in a larger spray booth and a new cutting and kitting machine to enable the company to increase productivity in line with growing demand from its marine customers.
Hexagon Composites' subsidiary Hexagon Lincoln has been selected to supply high-pressure hydrogen tanks for the first hydrogen fuel cell vessel in the US.
