Amber Composites Material Specified for another New Automotive Program

07 November 2012

Amber Composites’ high-performance prepreg has been specified for another new automotive program for a major European OEM.

Production for this programme is planned to commence in 2014. This comes just weeks after Amber Composites announced that its material was chosen for a new automotive build starting series production in 2013. Amber has been working closely with automotive customers to bring the benefit of lightweight composite technology to volume production and currently has more than €80m worth of structural material sales confirmed to the automotive industry.

Amber Composites will be exhibiting at the Composites Engineering Show in Birmingham, UK, November 7-8, Stand 539. Amber will also be giving a keynote presentation and an open forum talk about composites in automotive.
