Molded Fiber Glass Construction Products (MFG CP) received multiple corporate awards including the “Founder’s Award” from MFG CEO Richard Morrison, which Jon Alloway, accepted.
The Founder’s Award recognises significant progress made during the fiscal year. “It’s a significant award; it recognises the teammates for their accomplishments, dedication, commitment and teamwork.” Jane T. Roche, Marketing Coordinator.
According to MFG CP, other awards received were the Safety Award (four years no lost time), Sparkplug (growth in sales in the fiscal year), and OP (exceeding the operational plan during the fiscal year) Awards. “This past year we brought in some exciting and high profile composite projects, currently one column project is being used to rebuild a World Trade Center building and another custom form is being used to build the San Diego New Central Library. To be recognised for our extra efforts is great,” Jon Alloway, Operations Manager.

Shape Machining has pressed the first batch of parts that combine short fibre sheet moulding compound (SMC) over an optimised, long fibre carbon ShapeTex preform.
3M is adding Scotch-Weld Multi-Material Composite Urethane Adhesives DP6310NS and DP6330NS to its portfolio of structural adhesives. These products are designed for lightweight assemblies in trucks, buses, RVs, speciality vehicles and passenger rail, and other markets like sporting goods and panels.
