Molded Fiber Glass Construction Products (MFG CP) received multiple corporate awards including the “Founder’s Award” from MFG CEO Richard Morrison, which Jon Alloway, accepted.
The Founder’s Award recognises significant progress made during the fiscal year. “It’s a significant award; it recognises the teammates for their accomplishments, dedication, commitment and teamwork.” Jane T. Roche, Marketing Coordinator.
According to MFG CP, other awards received were the Safety Award (four years no lost time), Sparkplug (growth in sales in the fiscal year), and OP (exceeding the operational plan during the fiscal year) Awards. “This past year we brought in some exciting and high profile composite projects, currently one column project is being used to rebuild a World Trade Center building and another custom form is being used to build the San Diego New Central Library. To be recognised for our extra efforts is great,” Jon Alloway, Operations Manager.
Cobra International will showcase a range of composite products at CAMX 2018, including carbon fibre components for the automotive, transportation, marine, water sports and luxury sectors.
Cobra International is celebrating its 40th year and has commissioned a book that will look at 40 key projects and 40 key people that were integral to the company’s growth. ‘Klaus Simmer and The King Cobra: A breakthrough in surfboard design and production technology’ is an extract article from this book and a breakthrough composites product for Cobra, establishing its presence as a manufacturer of high performance windsurf boards and creating global visibility for the Cobra brand.
