Approval Granted for Iberdrola Renewables’ Tule Wind Power Project

The US Department of the Interior has issued its final approval of the Tule Wind Power Project with Secretary Ken Salazar signing the Record of Decision on the Environmental Impact Statement; this is the approval for the portion of the project on federal lands, making it the first approval of five California “priority” wind energy projects proposed for public lands.


DSM Dyneema Successfully Resolve Patent Infringement Dispute in the UK

DSM Dyneema has successfully concluded its patent infringement dispute with Miclin and J&D Wilkie (Kirriemuir/UK), trading under the Jack Ellis brand, in a case which was brought before the Patents Court of the High Court in London, and resulted in a settlement, details of which were not made public.

Hexcel and Snecma Grant Non-Exclusive License to LIBA

Hexcel and Snecma Propulsion Solide have granted a non-exclusive license to LIBA under their patents to produce machines for making sheets of multiaxial fibre by laying up unidirectional layers of material formed by spreading several spread tows of filaments, covering those machines currently marketed under the name “COPCENTRA MAX 5” and associated equipment.
