AIC Group and the National Composites Centre (NCC) have formed a new, multi-faceted strategic partnership to provide and service Autoclave Management and Control Systems.
The first part of the partnership involves AIC providing three state-of-the-art Autoclave Management & Control Systems (AMCS) to the NCC which, according to AIC, will control and monitor the Centre’s two autoclaves and a hot press for composite research and development purposes. The second part of the contract is a four year service programme for the NCC by AIC. AIC explain this will centre around on-going maintenance, calibration, training and technical support.
Tony Toll, CEO of AIC Group, said “The NCC is blazing a trail in the UK composites industry. We’re there to support them in this. This is a fantastic development for the AIC Group, and we are proud to continue our role at the forefront of this exciting and fast-growing industry.”
Rob Ludford, Operations Director of the NCC, said “AIC’s Autoclave Management Control System is exactly what we need to control all our autoclaves, with easy to use screens and accurate temperature and pressure management. Our old autoclave control systems are now outdated and no longer supported. AIC are able to deliver a new and enhanced control system with full backup and support.
“AMCS’ unlimited cure profiles give us exactly the flexibility we need. We are also pleased to have AIC servicing and maintaining our plant in the long-term, with their 40 years of experience and highly skilled team.”
