Synergy Composites has been externally audited and accredited to ISO9001:2008 by the Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) organisation.
Synergy is now working towards AS9100, the quality management standard specifically written for the aerospace manufacturing, and are inviting potential customers to identify their own unique requirements, thus ensuring efficient customer accreditation thereafter.
Andrew Ellel, Sales and Marketing Director at Synergy stated ""this accreditation provides Synergy with a stable platform with which to build our approvals. It is our intention to achieve AS9100 during 2011""'.
Ceramicx, Ireland, has completed an 1800 m2 expansion to its production facility, doubling capacity for the manufacture of infrared heating equipment for the composites industry.
