Oxeon Invests in More Capacity

01 March 2011

Oxeon has increased its production capacity as a consequence of demand for their spread tow carbon reinforcements.

""We have had a tremendous growth in recent years and the demand for our materials remains high. As a natural step, we have once again added capacity. I am glad that there is a strong interest in our products and the unique benefits they bring, our expanded capacity is a natural progression of it"", says Henrik Blycker, CEO at Oxeon.

TeXtreme spread tow fabrics are being more extensively used as the number of OEM products steadily increases, the latest being the ultra light golf shaft Blur from Fujikura Golf. Oxeon say that progress has also been made together with customers within aerospace and marine, and that the technical story of TeXtreme is validating itself by the interest and work performed by customers and users.

Henrik Blycker continues: ""Oxeon strives towards providing optimized spread tow carbon reinforcements to our customers giving them the fabric best suited for their needs and specific applications. By continuously increasing the capacity we always try to serve our customers needs and grow our business together. More good news is also to be presented in relation to the upcoming JEC show in Paris"".
