Governor Hickenlooper Tours Fiberforge

14 June 2011

Colorado Governor, John Hickenlooper, recently visited Fiberforge where he viewed demonstrations of their patented thermoplastic manufacturing process, talked to employees, and explored the new 24,000-square-foot headquarters and production site.

“A company like Fiberforge demonstrates that you can, in the modern world, build a technology company almost anywhere,” said Governor Hickenlooper. “Part of our job is to try to figure out what are the other companies already here in Colorado that could use these products. This is so innovative and so cutting-edge, but a lot of people just don’t know about it yet. I think that is a legitimate role of government, to try to help create some of those synergies” he continued.

“It’s a tremendous honour to have Governor Hickenlooper visit our new facility and to be recognized as a Colorado growth company,” says Jon Fox-Rubin, Fiberforge President and CEO. “By continuing to create innovative solutions for our customers, we intend to continue expanding the number of high-quality jobs here, growing our business, and cost-effectively producing high-performance parts from recyclable, thermoplastic advanced-composite materials.”
